Meet the Team

  • Megan Soto Kane

    FOUNDER & LEAD MENTOR

Bringing over 25 years of experience in the healing arts, weaving together body, spirit, and story. With degrees in Religious Studies and Dance, her work is rooted in a deep understanding of how belief, culture, and lived experience shape the female body across a lifetime.

Her path has taken her from directing award-winning theater in San Francisco — where she was named Emerging Artist of the Year by Brava — to apprenticing with Indigenous midwives in Guatemala, always guided by a devotion to the voices and experiences of women.

Following the births of her children, she co-founded a nonprofit nature-based learning center and launched a movement-based math curriculum company, bridging education, embodiment, and the natural world.

As a massage therapist, doula, and emerging interreligious chaplain, Megan holds space at life’s most profound thresholds — birth, death, grief, and transformation. She offers integrative bodywork, perinatal care, and ritual experiences that support individuals in reconnecting with their bodies and honoring the sacred transitions of being human.

She lives with her family in Nevada City, where they homeschool their children and tend the forest they call home.

  • Tam Andrews

    LEAD LOGISTICS & MENTOR

Walking a path of remembering—of returning to the body, the breath, and the living earth.

Her work is rooted in the old ways, where learning comes through relationship: with the land, with spirit, and with one another. Through earth living skills, ceremony, and time on the land, Tam opens spaces where stillness can be felt, where the noise softens, and something deeper begins to speak.

In circle and in wilderness, Tam guides youth, teens, and families through rites of passage and vision quest, tending the thresholds where transformation unfolds. Their path is also shaped by participation in various sweat lodge and Mayan ceremonial traditions, where prayer, rhythm, and devotion weave a bridge between worlds.

Born in South Africa, Tam’s connection to the wild began early and has been carried through years of study and practice in earth skills, tracking, and ancestral lifeways. Their hands have learned from the land—through basketry, foraging, and quiet observation—and their heart continues to listen.

    This work is an offering:
to remember our place within the web of life, to walk with respect and reciprocity, and to return, again and again, to what is sacred and alive.
